1. Data We Collect
This policy supports Apple's App Privacy Details disclosures. At this time, the Snova mobile app does not require student login and does not support in-app purchases. Lesson booking and payment are coordinated offline via WhatsApp.
For App Store disclosures, we distinguish app data collection from offline communications and instructor profile management.
1.1 Students (browsing in app, no login)
- No required student account creation in app
- No in-app payment collection
- No intentional storage of student personal identifiers in app
- No intentional collection of contacts list, SMS contents, or photo library
1.2 Instructors (profile data we store)
- Display name / nickname and profile photos
- Certificates / qualifications (images or file references)
- Years of teaching experience, disciplines, languages
- Instructor bio / profile description
1.3 Offline booking communications (WhatsApp)
If you contact Snova or instructors via WhatsApp, WhatsApp/Meta processes phone numbers and messages under its own policies. Snova may use information exchanged there only for booking coordination and support.
Instructors should not upload sensitive personal information into public profile fields (for example: home address, ID numbers, private phone number, private email, or date of birth).
2. How We Use Your Data
We use data only for service operation and user protection.
- App functionality: store and display instructor profiles and credentials
- Communication: coordinate bookings and support through approved channels
- Safety and security: enforce platform rules and investigate incidents
- We do not sell personal data to third parties
3. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We share data only in limited and necessary circumstances:
3.1 With instructors (for students)
If you proceed with booking coordination via WhatsApp/offline channels, the relevant contact context may be shared for lesson coordination.
3.2 With students (for instructors)
Public instructor profile information (for example display name, bio, qualifications, profile photo, years of experience) may be shown in app.
3.3 Service providers and third-party communications
We may use providers for hosting/storage under instructions. WhatsApp/Meta independently processes WhatsApp data under its own terms.
3.4 Legal requirements
We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or to protect safety and legal rights.
4. Tracking (App Store)
Snova does not track users across third-party apps/websites for advertising and does not share data with data brokers.
If tracking or advertising SDKs are introduced in the future, this policy and App Store disclosures will be updated before release.
5. Data Retention and Deletion
- Retention: Data is retained only as long as needed for service delivery, legal obligations, dispute handling, and fraud prevention.
- Deletion: You may request deletion by contacting our support/privacy channel. Requests are handled within a reasonable period unless legal retention obligations apply.
6. Your Privacy Choices and Rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to:
- Access personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- Withdraw consent for optional permissions in device settings
- Request deletion of your personal data

We implement industry-standard security measures (such as access controls and encryption safeguards). No method of internet transmission is 100% secure.
